A locally owned and nationally recognized Printing, Signage, and Marketing Services company in the PIP, Sacramento/Elk Grove, CA is looking for an experienced Digital Press/Copier Operator. Experience with Xerox digital machines and Fiery Command Workstation a plus.

Job Summary:

Our Digital Press/Copier Operator works closely with customers and our sales team, providing support with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibility Overview:

Produce print/copy jobs.
Schedule jobs by due dates indicated or as requested by management.
Call for machine maintenance and supplies when necessary, and notify management.
Operate all Digital Presses/Copiers in accordance with equipment operating procedures.
Perform maintenance per the guidelines on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Communicate with the other employees and/or the customer for a complete understanding of the copy order.
Keep the production area clean and organized.
Perform troubleshooting with the equipment when necessary.
Order and stock inventory and supplies per the direction of management.

Skills we are looking for:

An understanding of digital presses/copiers, their functions, and processes.
An aptitude for math, color theory and detail.
Able to apply written instructions about machine set-up and maintenance.

Skills desired, but not required:

Assist with job packaging as needed.
Comply with all OSHA safety requirements.
Experience with PrintSmith or PrintersPlan work tickets

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
